"Rettung" Acrylic Painting on Stretched Canvas. 18" x 24" x .75"(D)
Commissioned Piece for my friend, Melissa. This was painted from a Photograph she took during her travels in late August of 2001 while visiting Inyo Forest National Park in California.
Melissa traveled the States for one year while living out of that orange bus. She asked that I take some liberties with the scenery as long as I kept the bus in the Orange.
(Personalized license plates read, "Rettung", meaning "Rescue" in German.)
