$99 One on One Lesson ~ $75 a person for 2-6 artists. (2 hours)
*All materials included, just bring yourself. Please allow up to 2.5 hours for parties of 3 or more.
Each artist will create 3 (three) Alcohol Ink Paintings to take home and brighten up their home interior or office space (plus additional practice pieces). Your paintings will also make great holiday gifts! In this workshop you not only take home your beautiful art the same day, you also leave with knowledge on how to create more of your own alcohol ink paintings from start to finish at home if you wish.
Each Artist takes home Three (3) 5" x 5" Alcohol Ink Paintings each varnished and matted in three white bevel mats to 8" x 8" total size ready to pop in your own frames.

This Private workshop is a fun and introductory lesson on everything you need to create and take home THREE one-of-a-kind colorful abstract paintings per artist. After a quick demonstration of various techniques, you will take over (I will be right there to guide you along) and experiment with basic Alcohol Ink Techniques on provided 5" x 5" sheets of White Yupo or Black Nara Synthetic Art Paper*. Heck, you may even discover your own signature technique, the possibilities are literally endless. In this workshop, I will cover prep, materials, techniques, and how to finish and seal your Ink pieces with two different techniques. You will go home same day with 3 truly one-of-a-kind Zen like art pieces ready to hang on your home or office wall. These also make great Ready-to-Gift Art pieces for your favorite Abstract Art Lover.
*About Yupo & Nara Papers: Both are non-porous, acid free and pH neutral, synthetic papers which are machine made in the USA from 100% polypropylene. They are completely waterproof, stain-resistant, tear proof, and have become a unique and intriguing alternative to traditional art papers due to their strength and lifting properties. The super smooth surface of each allows you to build up nuances and patterns that would normally be impossible to achieve on traditional watercolor and drawing paper. Because it can be wiped clean you have the option to return to specific areas and redo them until they meet your standards, or to build up layers of paint using a similar technique to the one used with oil painting.
All supplies are included. (Inks, blending mediums, Metallic, White and Black Ink Pens, Brushes, Heat Gun, Blow dryer, Black and White Sheets of Yupo Paper, optional Clear Glass Gel Coat and Artisan Wax). Aprons and disposable gloves will be available. Whether you're painting for yourself or for a loved one, your Alcohol Ink Paintings will add a little splash of color to any wall or desk you choose to display them on.
