I have just received the best birthday gift ever....a framed Giclee of FORGOTTEN. I have been admiring this work since the artist shared her portfolio with me. My friends made a note of my admiration's and now the print is mine. It is one fo the best gifts I have ever seen. Thank you a million times over Joelle!!!

Not only do I enjoy this print, ( BORIS STUDY ), but everyone in my workplace does too. They all want to know if this tree is out there somewhere. (I have a few acres out behind the barn). It certainly has instigated some lovely discussions about art--which is a first in this man's workshop domain. I have never purchased a painting before, but this sure was a winner for me.

I just received the ORIGINAL PAINTING, FORGOTTEN , and could not be more pleased! This is one work that speaks to me more than any other I have ever experienced. From the very second I viewed FORGOTTEN, it touched my very soul. The emotional effect is as strong as ever. I saw the swirling colors bring the work to life, expressing the vibrant life we all have inside, the barbed wire trapping the figure's essence. This true work of art (and heart) holds a place of honor, toward the peak of the vaulted ceiling in my main room for all to see.

Joelle, I frequent La Petite Auberge and I wanted to tell you what a treat it is to look at Dreamer's Journey. My fiancee' and I love gazing at it from across the room as if we were looking out a window into a beckoning forest. Great talent!

I have the same feeling each time I see Solitude. Peace.
Your vivid color contasts bring the tranquility from the sunset as though I were there on the beach.
Feeling also comes knowing my wife cared so much to buy your painting after watching my expression
at first sight of Solitude in the
Sunken Well Tavern.
Thanks much.

I am very happy with my recent purchase of "Luna". I have it hanging in my bedroom. I just finished a book called "October Country" and the painting evokes the feeling that one gets observing nature in that autumnal period of October-November, roughly from Halloween to Thanksgiving, that is so special to me -- a time when the air is increasingly taking on a wintry chill and the trees are beginning to shed the last colorful hues of fall as they prepare for the long, deathlike sleep of winter.

Ah! Joelle, I enjoyed the show and more particularly your approach to showing trees in winter with a splash of light on the branches, your impression of bark is delightful. I also enjoyed the touch of motion with leaves falling or moving through the air.
I purchased two painting the second painting is of early fall with the leaves just starting to change with lots of color and emotion. That one is hanging in a dominate space in my home, so it can bring the same joy to visitors. Thanks for sharing your talent with the world and me.

We All have Dreams!!! Some have quite a more resilient memory of them and are able to dig the most intricate, vivid details to the surface!!
I, on the other hand, remain with the latter that only scrape bits and pieces off the floor of our psyche!! Until.......I delve into the surreal
imagery of Joelle Cathleen's Art work! Her visions conjure up related memories of the other side of my conscious!! Almost giving me those
Deja Vu Chills we all get!!! Rewardingly, Take the time to visually plunge into her work because I guarantee you're bound to find Something New On every occasion!!!!
I've Loved all her work since the day I was introduced!!

I was lucky enough to purchase a small, elegant water color entitled "Into the Woods." It has special meaning for me, as much of Joelle Cathleen's work does. There's a balance in the light, the shading, the subtle coloring of the trees, between passion and solitude; between engagement and escape. The trees are so inviting--the soft hues of the forest floor, the shadows--like the "woods" in Robert Frost's "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening." But Joelle's Cathleen's forest is not so suggestive of retreat; it entices with that idea, but the longer you look at the painting the more it draws you into what can only be described as its passion. This isn't retreat after all, it's a kind of spiritual embrace. You can't look away. This is the work of an extraordinary artist and I am happy to add another of her paintings to my collection.

As you know, I love and truly appreciate original work and this painting is amazing. Knowing the artist is as exciting as having his painting... I am so glad you tested the waters per say, with the watercolors. You have a beautiful eye for color and can create trees like nobody else. I cannot express to you just how talented you are. It's my most favorite of all media and the most challenging to work with. On my first sight of "Blue Winter", I knew I had to have it. This painting is truly beautiful. I look forward to your exploration into this media and cannot wait to see more.
Thank you so much...
